Discount codes

Create club promotions for memberships, gear, and seminars, then monitor their use and discount totals.

   Create a club promotion

   Open Discount codes in the branch admin area and choose Create promotion. Enter a memorable code such as FIRSTMONTH, then choose exactly one category: membership, gear, or seminar.

   Choose eligible items

   Select the plans, products, or seminar offerings that may use the code. Leave the list empty to make the code valid for every item in its category. A code never crosses branches.

   Choose the discount

   A percentage reduces the eligible gross subtotal (for example 20%). A fixed discount is applied once to the transaction and is capped at the eligible subtotal. Example: 10 currency units off a selected gi is a fixed gear offer.

   Build a membership offer

   Membership promotions can cover recurring fees, the signup fee, or both. Set the number of months—for example, 1 for a first-month offer or 3 for a three-month launch promotion. The code applies to a new membership episode or an ended rejoin.

   Set the campaign window

   Set an optional start and end date. The start is inclusive and the end is exclusive in your branch timezone. Add a maximum number of redemptions when the offer is limited. Example: a seminar code valid for 48 hours with 20 uses creates a time-limited offer.

   Publish the code

   Post the code on your club’s Instagram, Facebook, website, newsletter, or printed campaign material. Explain the eligible plan, product, or seminar and the expiry date so the offer is clear.

   Athletes enter the code

   Athletes enter the code on the authenticated Subscribe page, gear checkout, or seminar booking. Compteam validates the branch, dates, target, currency, usage cap, and one-use-per-athlete rule again when the purchase is submitted.

   Review the invoice total

   The invoice keeps the original line items and adds a visible promotion discount line. The net amount, tax calculation, PDF, and Stripe invoice all use the same server-side result. Zero-value purchases complete without a payment charge.

   Know the Stripe membership limitation

   Compteam promotion codes are not available for Stripe-backed membership plans. They are available for manual Compteam memberships. Gear and seminar promotions work with both manual and Stripe invoicing.

10. 10

    Monitor and finish the campaign

    Return to Discount codes to see active status, redemptions, and the total discount granted. After first use, the terms are locked; you can deactivate a code or change its cap. Existing invoices never change.
